This year's camp is now available as a self-guided course.

Remember those hot summer days as a child, when you'd be packed up and sent off for the day to a wonderful play land full of activities and friends? Each day was a magical adventure, a craft room, and maybe a swim (or a ride in a canoe!)?

What if we could do that with art journaling?

This is why I've put together an exciting 2 week art journaling summer camp for you -- right here, over the internet. This may mean you're chatting with your camp buddies with text instead of giggles and hugs, but that doesn't mean you won't make connections and have fun

How it works:

Every morning, you'll receive an email with a burst of inspiration in the form of a video. You can then hop on over to the group blog and say hi, or jump on the Flickr group to share what you've made. Chat with new friends in the Facebook group. I wanted to capture that spirit of a daily craft with each day's video, giving you a new twist on the techniques we all love.

You can earn merit badges for completing each day's task, and when you earn them all, I'll be sending them to you as stickers  in the mail, with a little note. How fun is that!

Also included are spreecasts & interviews with well-known artists.

Session 1 features Roben-Marie Smith and Nathalie Kalbach.

Session 2 features Carissa Paige.

Check out this video from behind-the-scenes of filming summer camp!

We'll be building upon what we create, doing exercises, & pulling from deep within to excavate what lies underneath. Each video will be approximately 10 minutes long, with a call to action for the day.

And everything will be archived so you can work at your own pace in case you need to miss a day!

I just know this is going to be a ton of fun! Play, color, inspiration, all in the middle of summer. Just what we all need to find our mojo, learn something new, and get that feeling of camp all without leaving the house.
