One of the freedoms that comes with all this not being my main income stream is that I can offer more things for free or a low price. With 2015, my start-over year now over, I'm putting together all sorts of things: videos, classes, regular blog features, etc.
But one of the biggest things I wanted to do was to open up the classrooms for older classes.
In order to keep this fair to those who have purchased anything in 2015, I've selected four older courses to open up for free.
Running Loose on Canvas was originally developed for another platform, but moved over when I created the Ning. It's all about painting and layering on loose canvas, and all the things you can do & make with it.
Friendly Faces shares my approach to drawing faces. I go at it with a different approach, starting with children's book illustrations and deconstructing the features to create a face you like.
Journaling Deep was a year-long art journaling technique class I did a few years ago.
Digital Adventures is all about creating art journal pages and illustrations on an iPad/tablet. There's a lot of technical stuff in there, tons of videos, and super cool tricks!
To join, head on over to the Journal Girl Studio & create an account. Shoot me an email to let me know and I'll approve the account and then you're ready to go!
If you'd like, you can donate a couple of dollars as a way of saying thanks. I'm covering Ning costs without any active classes, so it'll help keep that up and running through the year...I'm hoping to bring back Art Journal Summer Camp (and do an in-person camp, too!), though!
