Today marks 13 years since I first did NaNoWriMo, and the 10th I'll be participating.
For those who don't know, National Novel Writing Month is a 30 day challenge to write a 50,000 word novel. Yes. It is crazy. You have to write about 1,667 words a day! It can be fiction or non-fiction, even fanfiction (I've done about five of those!).
The past few years, I've written mine entirely on my vintage Facet typewriter I found on vacation a few years ago while out with Carissa Paige. And I will be again this year! I plan to draw my characters and paint a cover...just as soon as I figure out a title!
