You can learn to surf

I don't really know how to start blogging again, so I'm just going to start.

The Adobe Shape app is the BEST app ever! See that handwriting up there? I wrote it with a Pentel sign pen (brush tip) in my art journal and used the app to take a photo...

It automatically smooths the curves and creates a vector I can then use in any other Adobe application on my laptop. But I export it as a JPG and layer the words over photographs of art background using the app Superimpose. And if I want to clean up the image, I import it to Procreate where I can erase and resize stuff.

All this is done on my iPad and wow is it easy and fun. I'm designing a beginning release of greeting cards with my Inkspiration art and this process makes more room for art-making since I argue less with technology.

What waves are you learning to surf lately?
