Took me nearly a week, but here's my most recent vid. Put a lot in here and tried some new stuff, so let me know what you think. *G* I'm gonna go collapse on my couch, now, and rest!
New! Journal Girl In the Studio!
I'm teaching my brother the tricks of the trade, as it were -- both shooting video (he shot much of the beginning of this!) and journaling, as, when I sat down to start painting, he asked if he could, too! So have some fun sitting in the studio with me (and him!) as we play around and make art. (And remember to go HD; I uploaded this in shiny 1080!)

A Day in the Outdoor Studio
Last week, I experimented with a new camera, taking shots as I worked in my journal and on a new canvas. It's short and sweet, and I can see where adjustments need to be made for my next real video with this new equipment (it records in a completely different format!!).

Here's what I carry in my purse/on-the-go journal kit. Here's a list (that may be out of order of the video, but includes everything):
- Sandwich bag of letters, rub-ons, photos, magazine images, trim, found papers, and paper scraps
- Tombow Mono Adhesive
- Tonic Studios Scissors
- Pentel Arts Sunburst Gel Pen (white)
- Pencil Sharpener
- Kneaded eraser and regular eraser
- Copics for flesh tones: YR00, E02, E21, E33, 0 (colorless blender)
- Inktense Pencils
- Waterbrush
- Lamy fountain pen (I talk about mine here)

More experimentation with editing and such! Remember -- you can now view these at 720p HD and full-screen...oh, I get so giddy when I export the finished video and view it full-screen on my big monitor! To know I've come SO FAR in such a short time simply because I started paying attention and accessing all that info I learned in college (I have a BA in this stuff, for God's sake!).
I filmed this on Sunday, found out my brother was in the hospital, and was gone the rest of the evening. I did the artwork and editing last night after spending a few hours with him. And now, I have a few journals to finish before running over for a short visit! PHEW! And I have the mixed-media meetup tonight!
But I woke up at 7:30AM so I could finish editing and export this and work on the overdue journals and visit and then go across the city tonight. I really hope this one is enjoyable! And please, leave suggestions in the comments as to what I should film next!
